Maryam’s Keenly Observed Facts of Life (Part 31)

Hating someone requires a lot of effort and takes a lot out of you, like a steam train.

Loving someone is always effortless, it just happens, taking its own course. Much like the drops of water that meander down your neck following a previously discovered path.

  1. Assalamu’alaykum,

Thanks for dropping by my irrelevant opinions. On this observation, I definitely agree with the first part.. I think the only reason why I like pretty much everyone I meet and hold no ill feelings toward anybody is that I’m just too darn lazy to hold something against someone. It’s really not worth the effort to hate someone or something. And that’s a good thing. 🙂

  2. everything: funny. now go study.

faraz: I dont think your opinions are irrelevant. You know what, you’ve found a pretty good use for laziness! 🙂 I wish i could do the same. Rather, i jus stay away from ppl who i don’t like. Its better than hanging around them and then bitching about them.

sumera: You’re right, but i find that hate’s always temporary.

  3. … but i find that hate’s always temporary.

Well as long as you define temporary as to forgive someone after they have died.
