Literary Theatre (Part 2)

For whatever reason it always took her by surprise. The swiftly rising wave of soundless emotion always landed with a loud, offensive thud letting loose the heresy in her tamed soul. Angry at herself and unable to account for her misery through rules of reason, she sat wondering how and when the word pathetic, with a capital P, came to be implanted on her forehead.
